CPR
What is Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)?

An emergency medical procedure which utilizes chest compression and lung ventilation to help a cardiac or respitory arrest victim regain a heart beat and/or maintain blood and air flow until emergency medical personel are able to arrive at the accident site.

The ABC - South Texas CPR Program follows The American Heart Guidelines. The certified instructors incorporate lecture and on-hands training practice utilizing a CPR manikin to train attendees. Upon completion the attendee will receive a two (2)year certificate.

First Aid
What is First Aid?

First aid generally consists of simple and sometimes life saving medical techniques which may involve the use of minimal medical equipment, that can be used by a person either with or without formal medical training to stabilize an accident victim until emergency personal arrives on the accident site.

The ABC - South Texas First Aid Program meets the requirements set forth in the OSHA standards. This course is taught by certified instructors and will provide the attendee with a two (2)year certificate.
