Chapter Monthly Events and Mixers
Various monthly events are held for ABC members and Non-Members to come together and network. Some of the exciting events we have offered in past years include: golf tournaments, skeet shoots, and cook-offs. These events are the result of several of our volunteer driven committees: Gala, Golf, Social and Sportsman. Parking Lot Mixer
This event is usually a collaboration of associations that is open to the public. It is typically held annually at the Virtual Builders Exchange Parking Lot. Participating association members along with their friends have the opportunity to network while they enjoy good music, great food and cold refreshing beer. Various door prizes are awarded. Keep an eye on the Events Calendar starting in May each year to find out when the party will be held.

Excellence In Construction Awards Gala
EIC awards are presented to member companies and their affiliates that have submitted their completed projects in the ABC - South Texas EIC Competition. Winners are able to submit their projects to the ABC National Excellence in Construction competition. This formal event includes a meet and greet social, dinner and awards presentation. Many themes have made this event fun and exciting for all that attend combined with the humor of past year's Emcee's such as Tiffany Mock, Karen Grace and Jeff Reinagel. Start watching the Events Calendar in September for event details.

Construct-A-Kids Christmas Gala
The South Texas Construction Industry has a soft spot for children and that is what this annual event is about. All proceeds from the Construct-A-Kids Christmas Gala go to the Bexar County Family Foster Care Program. Attendees come decked out in their holiday best with a toy in hand to enjoy such things as casino night, silent and live auctions accompanied by a buffet and dancing. Check out the Events Calendar in November so you can mark your calendars for the event that usually takes place the first week of December.

ABC - Texas Legislative Day
ABC chapters in Texas go to Austin to meet with elected Senators and Representatives to discuss the 8 legislative priorities and other bills that the government affairs and legislative committees have work diligently to provide to the membership. A reception with the current elected officials is offered prior to the Legislative Day. This is one of the most important opportunities available to the membership. It allows you to let your representatives know your feelings on legislation that affects your day to day operations of your business. We encourage you to contact Steven J. Chapter Prospective Members Mixers
Breakfast and Happy Hours are held for prospective members to come into the ABC - South Texas Chapter office and meet with some of our staff and Board of Directors to find out what chapter membership can do for them.
