ABC Events

 

1. Mixers and Networking Events- ABC - South Texas hosts a number os networking events and mixers throughout the year that provide a platform for building relationships and networking with peers in the construction industry.  Those events include; our Burgers & Beer Mixer, Parking Lot Party, Contractor-in-a-Box and more.

2. Tournaments and Cook-Offs- We host an annual chili cook-off, a fall and spring golf tournament, a sporting clay shoot and a BBQ cook-off every year.  These are some of our most exciting events.  We encourage our members to take advantage of these opportunities to engage in a little healthy competition and enjoy some great camaraderie among other construction industry professionals.

3. Construct- A-Kids Christmas Gala- Over the past twelve years, the San Antonio Construction Industry has come together through both the Christmas Gala and the Toy Drive to contribute approximately $378,000 in cash and well over 16,000 toys to the Construct A Kid’s Christmas project. Your continued support in this fundraiser will help ensure that EVERY child in the care of Bexar County Child Protective Services receives at least one gift for Christmas. Please continue to support this worthwhile cause!


4. Excellence in Construction Awards Banquet- During this annual black-tie optional event, companies are presented with awards for Excellence in Construction, Chapter Involvement as well as Safety and Corporate Responsibility. ABC's Awards of Excellence Program has become the premier competition within the construction industry that recognizes outstanding construction projects throughout the South Texas area. Winners at the local level will go on to compete at the National level.
